It’s funny how now that we have a garden and growing a lot of vegetables, I think and wish for rain. This weekend we waited eagerly for the predicted thunderstorm but it never came. The best we got was some drizzle. And of course we got rained on during the Sternfahrt, which we participated in from Ludwigsfelde to Berlin. We rode around 60km by bike today (and 100km over the past few days) – let’s see what kind of aches and pains I will endure tomorrow.
Despite the lack of heavy rain, our vegetables are looking good!
We do have a bit of a slug problem – we are lucky they are mainly just eating the lettuce, which we have an abundance of.
Strawberries and raspberries have joined the list of things ready to eat.
Soon we should be able to try our zucchinis.
We also have camomile growing, which Mohammad made a tea out of.
Not much has changed in the house, apart fromĀ the fact that we have two fireplaces (not yet installed) and drums (on loanĀ – as Mateus currently has no place to keep them in Berlin)!
