We achieved more than we expected on our first weekend in Fröhden. We brought more things we had collected from friends, did some initial light cleaning (sweeping the floors), set up some rooms to make the house a bit more liveable and started with the weeding. We also had our first visitors: Tad (our first overnight guest and first person to try out the bath and heated floor) and Maria.
Set up two basic sleeping rooms (single + double), kitchen and dining room.
Started ripping off the wallpaper, Artur and Tad made a small table.
We removed the carpet from this room and decided to make it a living room for now. I think this room could be a cosy living room but could also work well as a working room.
We spent maybe five or so hours weeding the courtyard area. We didn’t expect everywhere to be paved underneath the weeds. The house hadn’t been lived in for around seven years so everything is completely overgrown.
