Our dear Tuk Tuk, a bike from the Dak Lak province has been sold! His new Dutch owner will be driving him up north again, with some Tuk Tuk companions. Here is a photo tribute to the four months we spent with him.

What stands out the most from our past six months on the road would definitely be the motorbike trip we did of the extreme north of Vietnam.
Here are photos from our journey from Cao Bang to Bao Lac. We actually wanted to go all the way to Meo Vac that day but took road TL204 which ended up taking a good whole day. Most people take road 34 but I definitely recommend taking this alternative route if you’re a capable rider.
The road definitely less traveled. TL217 from Bao Lac to Meo Vac. As the title says, it took us a good seven hours to complete this 70km ride. Extremely difficult roads, you will go where most have never been. Not recommended unless you are an extremely experienced rider, also best not to be alone.
